Ateker Sports and Arts foundation is a legally registered organization in Uganda, with chapters in other Ateker countries. The organizations strategy is anchored in using sports and arts to promote cultural heritage, peace and co-existence among the Ateker communities by integrating sports, culture and arts to positively address the pandemic problems affecting the Ateker people like inter-tribal conflicts, poverty, illiteracy and backwardness through mindset change and networking. It also inculcates the spirit of unity, peace, socio-economic development and environment conservation in its programs

Ateker Cup
Ateker cup is a regional local sports tournament played across Teso sub region
It was started in 2021
The major purpose of the sporting initiative is unity and talent Identification
Ateker Cup of Nation
Ateker cup of Nations is aregional sports tournament that is played by football teams from across Ateker Ethnic cluster (Turkana, Toposa, Iteso,Nyangatom, Karamojong, Kumam, Jie) to celebrate grass root talents and culture.This annual championship is therefore played by Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Ethiopia
Ateker Run
Ateker Run is an annual community driven marathon organised to create awareness rising numbers of road crushes, its purposed to reduce increasing road traffic accidents that have claimed countless lives and left behind many incapacitated causalities.
Ateker Go-Green
This project harnesses the power of sports in promoting environmental conservation through the campaigns such as sports for environment which supports;
Ateker Carnival
Ateker carnival is the biggest Ateker cultural networking festival for the Ateker people organized annually to celebrate and appreciate the uniqueness in the Cultural diversity among the Ateker communities. The carnival brings together the Ateker various cultural enthusiates from Teso, Karamoja, Kumam and Lango in Uganda, Jie, Toposa of South sudan, Turkana and Maa community of Kenya, Nyangatome of Ethiopia and many more. It’s one of the biggest Cultural integration events of tribes with the same historical origin, language and cultural connections.
Ateker Got Talent
Ateker Got Talent is a talent search program dedicated to providing a platform for talented individuals to show case their creativity through performing arts in the Ateker selected regions.
The project targets to empower local community people through music, Dance, comedy, acrobatics, spoken word and creatives arts.
The platform promotes transitional music and culture with a blend of modernity while positioning the less privileged talents for national, regional and Global visibility.
